Eh. This one didn't thrill me completely. Too many unrealistic changes in the story to make it credible. Still a descent book because it is written by Picoult but a little far fetched in my opinion.

Interesting mix of storytelling with actual songs the character sings that can be listened to on the internet. (The publisher has removed the link to the songs, but I was still able to find them - keep googling!) I did not find the songs…

If you enjoy having social and political views woven into story line, this is the novel for you! I for one am weary of such and seek refuge in my reading. Her slap at Conservatives ad/or Repub- licans made me uncomfortable but told…

Once again Picoult sucked me into her world and made me think deep and hard about issues I thought I had made my mind up about. I am thankful that I'm able to reflect on her works as much as I am. I identify as a conservative Christian,…

This book was not at all what I expected it to be. At first I figured, okay, couple can't have a baby so this is their story, the end. But no. This book goes into great detail from many different perspectives of challenges faces in…

Another riveting read from Jodi Picoult that examines the moral, religious and ethical debate of frozen embryos. Sped through it.

Like some have already mentioned the book felt a little heavy, Picoult seemed to have wanted to include too many hot button issues. Also, by the middle of the book I had a pretty good guess as to how it would end. The music CD the book…

What a amazing book, it is really interesting and takes a while to get to the climax, but such a great ending. Didn't want to put it down, and all I ever wanted to do was pick it back up, took it everywhere!

It seemed like she was trying very hard to incorporate all of the hot button issues in contemporary society and it felt forced to me.

This is a very typical Jodi Picoult novel. Completely extreme in the beginning to get your attention, then very blah in the end. It seemed to me that this novel had A LOT of unnecessary drama for an anticlimactic ending.

I actually didn't like this book as much as I liked the last one I read. (House Rules) I found it was a bit over the top in places, but I followed through it and even found myself getting angered by some of the characters choices. I really…
