I don't want to say I'm embarrassed, but I am (just a little), that I really liked this book and read it happily without reading the whole Harry Potter series. But I did watch the movies, and understood the context and content well enough.…

These stories are fun but the vibe is kind of creepy. I did enjoy Dumbledore’s commentary giving historical context. Here is my ranking of the stories: The Fountain of Fair Fortune, Babbity Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump, The Tale of the…

This entertaining subtitle to the flagship "Harry Potter" series pulls back the curtain even more into the beloved universe created by J. K. Rowling. I especially liked the short story format these tales are formed in because they are…

AMAZING! This is a really good book. Possibly one of my all time favorites. You have to have read the Harry Potter series first or this will not make any sense.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard is a great book of well-known fairy tales read to young wizards and witches all over the Wizarding World. The stories, as well as the great explanatory notes made by Albus Dumbledore, add up to be a very…

SUMMARY This is a compilation of several children's stories. But not just stories for any child - these are stories for the young witch & wizard. J.K. Rowling wrote this book to sound as though it were a true children's story book…

I enjoyed another glimps into the fantastic world of Harry Potter. These are the well beloved children's tales in Hermione Granger's Book that Dumbledore left for her in his will, and they are anything that I could hope for. These…

As amusing respite for those who read all the books, more interesting than it is enjoyable.

It's not like reading another book in the Harry Potter series, but if you love being a part of the wizarding world, here is another chance to do so. The tales are witty and add another dimension to the wizarding world.

A collection of bedtime stories with a wizard world approach. The notes give great background to the stories. Very entertaining.

I love all things related to Harry Potter, and this quick read doesn't disappoint. Love Rowling's imagination, and this is a great companion to the Harry Potter universe. Definitely recommend to all Harry Potter fans, regardless of age!

Quick fairy tales of the wizarding world, a tantalizing sample of the literature that wizarding children in the Potterverse might be exposed to. These tales somewhat mirror traditional folk and fairy tales, but with a unique twist that is…

the cover says "a wizardly classic from the world of harry potter". sorry I see it as a way to drain money out of harry potter fans. the stories are cute but not worth a book

This was a very fun and easy book to read. I read it straight through right after I picked it up from the library. It also gives interesting background information. I definitely recommend it to all HP fans! I wish it would have been longer.

I loved that the book was a collection of children's bedtime stories but from the wizarding world. They were so very different from the bedtime stories I grew up with as a Muggle.
