An enjoyable book. I would, at times, skip Ira to continue with Luke and Sophia, and then go back to Ira. I thought it a bit long, but an easy enough read. I look forward to watching the movie to compare movie to book. I’ve read quite a…

Nicholas Sparks?? I expected to be cliche’d to the core, but no. This is a lovely book; it’s story is about love, enviable, appreciated love. I know this is a book I will read again.

Not my type of reading. The first section was okay but the story soon turned into a Harlequin style of story. You know, pretty girl meets handsome cowboy with curly hair and dimples. I stopped after the fourth chapter. I hope I didn't…

As always, Nicholas Sparks takes us to the South and spins a wonderful tale. He does not disappoint in this story. I enjoyed the movie, but (as usually happens) I liked the book even more.

I liked how he tied up the ending. The paintings that were bought with love, ended up with a person “who Understood.” This was my strategy to read this book. I was engaged at the beginning of the book, then the story of Luke and Sophia…

The Longest Ride is a great piece of literature. It's about a girl in her early-twenties meeting a man that she loves. At the same time, a old man Ira gets into a car crash. His dead wife visits him in different ages as they go down memory…

Easy read that keeps you interested. The love story is touching and the way the 2 stories connected at the end made it even better. Ira and Ruth's story was captivating and warm. Recommend!!

Admittedly, the title of the book and the book's cover were unappealing to me, but the book kept showing up on recommended book lists. Since I needed a book for a long weekend trip, I grabbed this audiobook off the shelves and immediately…

I loved this book, so it was somewhat predictable the story between the two couples were enjoyable and the ending was amazing. I understood.

This was well written but it did not hold my interest enough for me to finish the book. This is probably less a reflection on the author's skill than of the fact that I don't often like straight romances.

" I wish I had the talent to paint the way I feel about you, for my words always feel inadequate. I imagine using red for your passion and pale blue for your kindness; forest green to reflect the depth of your empathy and bright yellow for…

I am a Sparks fan (and a male might I add). I've read all his books. But I almost gave up on this one. Its a bit lengthy but I must admit, it kept me engaged. I wanted to know what happened, and I'm glad I read it all the way through! The…

Definitely resides in the "Harlequin Romance" category. Pretty contrived story - boy meets girl from different side of tracks, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back, suddenly through "divine luck" happy ending.
