I always enjoy a Hiaasen book, and this title is no exception. Hiaasen can throw shade at Florida stereotypes like no other, and in this book, his literary voice is as sharp as the titular razor. As someone who loves Florida and its…

Weird book. Definitely not one of his best. Don’t bother with it in my opinion.

This was the first of Hiaasen's books that I read. I didn't realize how much I liked it until reading some of his lesser books. This was a quick and fun read for me, and I found myself laughing out loud.

This is the 4th book I've read by Carl Hiaasan, and I've always enjoyed his quirky characters and his satire on the people living in Florida. In this book, he seemed to describe his characters as more bizarre & also appeared to be…

Hiaasen is my go-to author for dark, bitter humor. As a seasoned reporter, he has a front row seat on the business and political shenanigans that take place in south Florida. In this outing, Andrew Yancy, formerly a detective and now…

My 1st book by this author. Not for me. Mildly entertaining at best. Too many outlandish characters for my tastes

I usually burn through a Hiaasen book in one sitting-not this one. Too off the wall for once!

A fun book, definitely in the top half of his work, and worthy of re-reads.

Carl Hiassen inserted so many really news stories in this zanny caper! FL is defiantly a hotbed off oddities and deception. Hiassen captures it so well!

Carl Hiaasen has the pulse of American pop culture. Once again, he spins a bizarre and hilarious tale about a dysfunctional society. IMHO, I would rate "Razor Girl" at 4.0 stars. When will Hollywood produce a major motion picture…

Hiaasen redeems himself for what he did wrong with Bad Monkey. He's back in form.

I love Hiaasen , but this might be my favorite in a while. He's in tip top shape, funny as ever. Characters seem totally unrealistic at first until you think about it and realize they're THIS close to actually existing somewhere. Clearly…

If you're a fan of Dave Barry, Tim Dorsey or this author's previous books, grab a copy & buckle up. The blurbs above give you a good idea of the story lines. Just know it features a large cast of loons inextricably tied to each other by…
