This docudrama tells the untold story behind this revealing yet humorous moment in the Oval Office forever immortalized in the requested photos in the National Archives. If you''re an Elvis fan, this is a must-see.

As portrayed by Michael Shannon, Elvis is a mix of celebrity egotist, southern gentleman, and staunch supporter of all things right of centre who is obsessed with becoming an undercover federal agent so that he can protect America from…

I just had a problem with Michael Shannon playing Elvis. Normally the actor is better looking than the real life person or at least resembles the person. But not in this case. I just could not not look at him without cringing. Elvis is…

I was totally surprised by this movie that I saw on the shelf, and got on impulse. Not my line of interest at all. What I didn't know was what a good picture it gives, of that era. Entertaining and enlightening.

I liked this DVD. It is good for all ages. This re-enactment was slow moving. The story of the infamous meeting between Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon in 1970, which was immortalized in the most requested phonograph in the National…

this is the first time elvis was played without caricature ; Shannon plays it strait - like elvis would be without having to be 'on' for his public .

Meh. After watching for about 30 minutes, I asked myself, "Just what, and why am I watching this?" Elvis wants to be a Federal Agent, and the Prez just gives him a badge? Huh??

Entertaining DVD about the meeting of Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon in December 1970. They were both rather unique and unforgettable characters of their era. Elvis decides he wants to be a federal agent “at large”, of course no one…

I did not really get the story but its suppose to actually happen so interesting...not like it has a moral to the story or does it. that what the story in the movie said did Elvis go under cover the world will never know. How many…

Michael Shannon as Elvis?! totally miscast, if it was a movie about Frankenstein's monster, yes, Michael Shannon would be a top choice to play the role but not this.

I really enjoyed this film! I was surprised that I hadn't heard of this film before when I found it randomly on the shelf at work. I'm a huge fan of Kevin Spacey, and I love learning/reading about Nixon and his presidency. This film…

I am a Elvis Presley fan. I love his music. This movie to me was a insult to him. I did not like this movie at all!

Perhaps it is because I was born around 1950 yet don't feel particularly mostalgic about either Presley or Nixon, but it seems to me there just wasn't enough of a story here to base a movie on. Perhaps if the relevant part of the Nixon…

While I agree with the other comments about the actor not looking like Elvis, I loved the story and found it really humorous. Kevin Spacey does a great Richard Nixon impression! The fact that the Elvis-Nixon photo is the most requested…

Disappointing because I love Michael Shannon and Kevin Spacey and neither one looked or sounded like the historical character they were playing. There were a few humourous moments, but overall it was a waste of time.

Elvis wants to be an Agent at Large. He talks a friend into flying to Washington DC to talk to President Nixon. Funny.

A funny, quirky, and interesting drama about the fateful meeting between Elvis and Nixon. Shannon shines as the King of Rock n Roll.

Just didn't come across as a well told story to me as a viewer. I felt Michael Shannon as Elvis wasn't convincing at all and I didn't particularly believe Kevin Spacey as Nixon either. The actual real life story itself is interesting but…

Quite amusing but would have been better if Elvis had been more like Elvis. I think Kevin Spacy quite enjoyed himself, hamming it up.

I didn't expect much of this movie but it was surprisingly good. Excellent comic renditions of the main characters and a good narrative. Caught the spirit of the decade and it kept the story rolling along. The soundtrack was great…

A movie about two clowns: one a pill-popping doper in entertainment, the other a sordid, lying and thieving scoundrel, who was in Dallas on or just before the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, then would later become president. …

ELVIS & NIXON is a brilliant reenactment of the meeting between The King and Tricky Dick. With great economy, the film places the viewer in the 1970 milieu. That was the year that the Nixon administration believed there was going to be a…
