I very much enjoyed this movie -- particularly the child actress who exemplified resourcefulness and strength. While this movie reflected a lot of the Chinese culture of formality which I am familiar with it also cleverly promoted a non-conformist bent which was a pleasant surprise. There's a lot of action and trauma thankfully relieved by a happy final ending.
