Little Red Riding Hood Rides Again!_____ Yes. I know that I'm not the first (and I certainly won't be the last) to say that Hoodwinked could have been a whole lot better than it was._____ But, all the same, this zany, fast-paced, and, at times, over-the-top re-telling of the Little Red Riding Hood story contained some very funny moments._____ Though, at times, the story went a little over-board, it was, for the most part, quite entertaining._____ I liked the characters - Twitchy, the squirrel (especially after he drank some coffee), and Kirk, the Woodsman (especially when he played the Schnitzel Man)._____ I found Hoodwinked's story to be way too rough and violent to be suitable for young children.

Great animation. Great soundtrack. A twist on the traditional fairy tale before everyone else got on the bandwagon. This one is better than Hoodwinked 2. Try it.

This movie had lots of potential but came up lacking in almost all departments. And while this is a cartoon I would keep the small children away from this one. Other than that the animation is decent and the script isn't horrible. I would recommend this to fans of more adult animation.

Well, this movie was a disappointment. It was an overly long 80 minutes. The cast was great, and the story had promise, but they failed to gel for me. NOTE: Parents should note the PG rating: extreme sports, sabotage, attacks on the good guys, and explosions.

Nicky Flippers: Why do they call you "Red"?
Red: They call me "Red" because I wear this red hood.
Nicky Flippers: What about when you're not wearing the hood?
Red: [pause] I usually wear it.

An updated re-telling of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood." The satire begins where the fable last left off, as there's always more to every tale than meets the eye! Furry and feathered cops from the animal world, Chief Grizzly and Detective Bill Stork, investigate a domestic disturbance at Granny's cottage, involving a girl, a wolf and an ax. The charges are many: breaking and entering, disturbing the peace, intent to eat, and wielding an ax without a license. Not to mention, this case might be tied to the elusive "Goody Bandit" who has been stealing the recipes of goody shops everywhere.
