The fight against evil isn't a pretty story. It includes many issues that may not be suitable for young readers....but, SW has always involved this sort of story line....all the way back to the original movie where a whole planet was destroyed.

If you like Obi-wan....this is a very interesting book. Being able to see how considerate Obi-wan is when Anakin isn't around is quite enlightening. Very good story. And great background for the history of Obi-wan.

My 7 year old can read at this level, but the content is a bit heavy for his age. So instead, I'm reading it to him, and skipping/changing the parts about executions and body disposal!!! Just what age is that stuff ok for? This book was in the under 12 section...
