THE SECOND AURORA TEAGARDEN MYSTERY—NOW A HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERY ORIGINAL STARRING CANDACE CAMERON BURE!

Death comes calling on small-town librarian Aurora Teagarden in this entertaining mystery from #1 New York Times bestselling author Charlaine Harris.

Going to two weddings—one of a former lover—and a funeral for a member of her disbanded crime study club keeps Aurora “Roe” Teagarden quite busy for a few months. Unfortunately, her personal life seems to be at a standstill—until her fortunes unexpectedly change.

After the funeral Roe learns that Jane Engle, the deceased, has named her as heir to a  rather substantial estate, which includes money, jewelry, and a house complete with a skull hidden in a window seat. Knowing Jane, Roe concludes that the elderly woman has purposely left her a murder to solve. So she must identify the victim and figure out which one of Jane’s ordinary-seeming neighbors is a murderer—without putting herself in deadly danger...

Baker & Taylor
When librarian Aurora Teagarden becomes the unexpected beneficiary of a colleague's estate, she stumbles upon the skeleton of a murder victim and sets out to clear the name of her late friend, but the real killer is still watching and waiting nearby. Reprint.

I did enjoy this book very much. Roe inherits a house and finds a skull hidden there. Now she doesn't know what to do with it. Of course Roe being Roe, she decides to hold it until she can find out who the skull belongs to. This book held my interest and had me wondering right up to the end. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Big changes for Aurora Teagarden after she inherits a house and a fortune from another member of the now defunct Real Murders club. Now that she's independently wealthy and Arthur (her boyfriend from Real Murders) has married someone else, what's in store for Roe? A new career? A new beau? New murders to investigate? All of the above? I'll give you one guess. This series of mysteries is quick, light-weight and fun.

I really enjoyed this book! I like where it takes Roe and how it changes her. If you liked the first one, you'll probably like this one too!

This was another entertaining Aurora Teagarden novel. The mystery was very engrossing and kept me guessing with a lot of false leads. I was disappointed that Roe's relationship and end of her relationship with Arthur Smith happened off the page between Real Murders and A Bone to Pick. I would have enjoyed reading about their relationship.
