Excellent story to illustrate the destructive force of spreading rumors, lies, sharing information that isn't meant to be shared and putting friends in difficult positions. Beautifully handled by a counselor transforming trouble talk into healthy talk.

A very important matter to cover, throughout ALL ages.

A wonderful read aloud to illustrate what "trouble talk" (gossiping, spreading rumors--verbal bullying) looks like, sounds like and feels like for all involved. I like the way this picture book gives a detailed dialogue, shows the impact of words on people, and how a situation like this can be peacefully handled. A great pairing with the book 'Lola's Rules for Friendship' by Jenna McCarthy.
