Michelle Sagara writes beautifully, and her characters are complex and interesting. Here it's her boss that is put into peril and the lengths needed to not only understand the Tha'alani to be able to interpret and create understanding through the form of a play, and the tension created through Marcus' situation makes for a great read.

Good addition to the Elantra series. It got to be a bit slow in the middle but the end made up for that twice over. Can't wait to begin the next book in the series!

Another good title in this series. Describes more about the various cultures in Elantra. The plot listed on the back of the book is only a part of the story, and most of the story focuses on Leontines.
