A charming Christmas book about a woman searching for a husband and family for the perfect Christmas, and the professional matchmaker whom she develops feelings for. Loved the Christmas theme, and it was light and entertaining. Perfect for fans of the Hallmark Christmas Movies.

I must be a in a ho-hum mood because I found this one average. I think I really missed the angels which were not depicted in this book. Quick, short read in any case.

Decent little (actually quite little) romance. Predictable, of course, but romance readers don't seem to be into tension or mysteries.

Debbie Macomber writes what I call pleasant escapist fiction. She's well known for The Shop on Blossom St. series and many other titles too. This one features a young woman, Cassie, who wants to meet a suitable husband. At the recommendation of a friend, she goes to a professional matchmaker, only to find that he's the one she's really interested in. An enjoyable Christmas story.
