For starters - "No Surrender" made it very clear, right off the bat, that the information brought to light in this 70-minute documentary (concerning the late, pop icon, Michael Jackson) was, indeed, "unauthorized".

And, with that in mind - "No Surrender" was, pretty much, all about listening to various people (in the recording industry) who had met Jackson (in the living years) and now each of them was telling the viewer their version of - "Michael did things (sang, danced, reacted) this way because.... And Michael did things (sang, danced, reacted) that way because...." (And, none of it, of course, was in the least bit interesting, unless you happened to be a die-hard MJ fan).

One of "No Surrender's" truly demented moments was the dead-serious story that (get this!) actually connected up L.A.'s, 1994 earthquake with poor sales of Jackson's HIStory album the following year. (Spare me!)

Anyway - I don't know about you, but, personally, I thought that the photo chosen of Michael for this DVD's cover was very unflattering. But, I guess, that's the way he really looked after all of the cosmetic-surgery overload.

Not very informative, mostly a bunch of people who have worked with MJ saying how wonderful he is.
The chapter introductions are unnecessary and very annoying. Some good photo footage was horribly misused and coloured over. And the constant background vocals are dreadful.
