About three things I was absolutely certain. First, Edwart was most likely my soul mate, maybe. Second, there was a vampire part of him–which I assumed was wildly out of his control–that wanted me dead. And third, I unconditionally, irrevocably, impenetrably, heterogeneously, gynecologically, and disreputably wished he had kissed me.

And thus Belle Goose falls in love with the mysterious and sparkly Edwart Mullen in the Harvard Lampoon’s hilarious send-up of Twilight.

Pale and klutzy, Belle arrives in Switchblade, Oregon looking for adventure, or at least an undead classmate. She soon discovers Edwart, a super-hot computer nerd with zero interest in girls. After witnessing a number of strange events–Edwart leaves his tater tots untouched at lunch! Edwart saves her from a flying snowball!–Belle has a dramatic revelation: Edwart is a vampire. But how can she convince Edwart to bite her and transform her into his eternal bride, especially when he seems to find girls so repulsive?

Complete with romance, danger, insufficient parental guardianship, creepy stalker-like behavior, and a vampire prom, Nightlight is the uproarious tale of a vampire-obsessed girl, looking for love in all the wrong places.

Baker & Taylor
In this parody of the popular Twilight series, gawky, vampire-obsessed Belle determines that computer nerd Edwart is not only her soul mate, but also a vampire, and sets out to find a way to get him to bite her so they can spend eternity together.

This book was really awful...I'm not even a Twilight fan, but this parody is seriously ridiculous. It was really painful to read. Imagine an obnoxious and offensive hyperbole... on steroids.

I read this book 3 years ago and have reread it numerous times. I love it so much! I also enjoy the Harvard Lampoon's parody of the Hunger Games called the HUNGER PAINS. it's not as good as Nightlight but it is still a good read

There were some funny parts but it's alright. It was a short read. I don't love it but I don't hate it either although I was expecting a bit more.

I was kind of hoping for more, thought it was going to be funny with all those recent good comments about it. But it sucks. There were some moments when it was funny (1-2 parts) but the rest was just stupid. I can't believe I spent my time reading it. :(

A quick, but enjoyable read. You can tell that each chapter was written by someone different because they each seem to have a different sense of humour. I liked how they not only made fun of the whole premise of the Twilight series, but also the writing style of Ms. Meyer, purposely slipping in typos and wrong sentence structure here and there. And it was actually quite funny, though some parts were just silly. I can see how some Twilight fans wouldn't enjoy this.

A lot of people are saying that this book sucks, but I REALLY enjoyed it! It is an absolute must-read. It does not make fun of the series (I am a Twilight fan, in fact) but only flips it around, to see the funny side of things.

Don't listen to the haters--this book is GREAT!

this was a terrible book, I'm a twilight fan and this was a disgrace to the twilight series and Stephanie Meyer, the review made the book seem good but:
It.Is.Terrible. and it was a waste of my time.

After getting dressed, I looked in the mirror. Staring back was a sallow-cheeked girl with long, dark hair, pale skin and dark eyes. Just kidding! That would be so scary. Staring back was me.
