A powerful portrait of America's overwhelming addiction to, and reliance on, oil. Having been born and raised in one of the USA's most oil-producing regions, Josh Tickell saw firsthand how the industry controls, deceives, and damages the country, its people, and the environment, and after one too many people he know became sick, he knew he just couldn't idly stand by any longer.

A very entertaining and uplifting doc, showing the many different treatments available that can and must cure our addiction to petroleum. It all starts from the bottom up, with every individual. Be part of the green revolution!

CHANGE YOUR FUEL… CHANGE YOUR WORLD
I love the description on the DVD case “Just a regular guy, he spent 11 years making his movie, showing himself – and others –that an individual can indeed make a difference.” This film by Josh Tickell shows us the way out of our addiction and reliance on oil and explains how to replace every drop of oil we now use, with creating green jobs and changing the future for our children. This documentary gives us positive easy solutions already within our reach. We can make it happen.

It's a good movie but I'm not completely convinced that bio-fuels are energy positive. I think the filmmaker has an emotional attachment to bio-fuels and can't accept that it takes more energy to create bio-fuels than it produces.

There is still some good information included in this DVD about how North Americans are addicted to oil.
