As far as explaining and documenting the exercises, they're ok but not great. A search for youtube videos of the exercises would be more helpful as these are "ballistic" exercises and seeing the motion is important. But they do have great exercise programs for different purposes. One program for wrestling, another for martial arts another for 1st responders another for tennis players. You can find a program that is tailored for what you are interested in and that is this book's strength. As the previous reviewer mentions, kettlebells are expensive. But if you have already been bitten by the kettlebell bug this is a useful guide.

Variety of good kettlebell routines for police/military. Exercises are varied and prevent boredom. Guide focuses on practical areas like strength, power, and endurance. However, routines usually would require multiple (expensive) kettlebells. Pretty good overall.
