The only other book I've read by Geneen Roth was "Feeding the Hungry Heart", which she wrote some 20 years ago and which I remember as an excellent book.
On that basis I borrowed "Lost and Found", expecting it to have useful insights about the correlation between attitudes about food and attitudes about money. It does, but they are buried in a lot of filler about Roth's loss of her million-dollar life savings in the Bernie Madoff scam. If you're interested in reading about Roth's family and financial story, this is a good book; if you're looking to understand women's attitudes about money and how they can be changed, it's not so good.

Really enjoyed this book. Makes a lot of sense the relationship between taking care of yourself and fiscal responsibility and taking care of yourself nutritiously. Focuses on what you have not what you want.

Money and food - where out ideas about both come from. Bernie Madoff. Learned a lot and made me think.

Surprising revelations from a victim of Bernie Madoff.
I could not put the book down for long.
Good read for women, with some fresh ideas on the way we think about food and money.
Gave me pause for thought and hope for change.
