A bit long-winded, but if I were a bigger Beatrix Potter fan, I don't think I would have noticed as much.

Enjoyable but has less conflict & suspense than her other Beatrix Potter bks, not to mention whimsy. What happens to Beatrix at the height of the action is just ridiculous.
