Awesome movie that shows the power of influence, faith, and making life decisions. Very eye opening and heartfelt. My husband and I totally loved this movie, and would watch again!

Child abuse and religious prejudices are the message in my opinion here. I was raised in a strict religious way and now feel that all religions have misdirected the real meaning of faith for their own purposes. Doing away with the charitable contribution for itemized deductions would go a long way in eliminating the benefits of hiding behind phony beliefs. I mean is my religion better than yours? Well of course it's mine!

Every American needs to see at least one movie like this. It depicts American Muslims and the general population as they try to figure a way to coexist.

4 stars for the message and 3 stars for the acting which sometimes seems to falter a bit.

Danny Glover in a rare cold role.

The acting in this move was very good and demonstrated how childhood abuse can affect one's beliefs, behavior and relationships. It also gave a good depiction of the effects of 9-11 for many Muslims. Well worth watching!
