I am also more of a Black Sabbath fan than an Ozzy fan. In fact I haven't bought an Ozzy album since Ulitimate Sin on vinyl. But seeing as this is Remastered, which can really make a difference in some recordings, I'll keep a copy on hand for visitors. Also all the Black Sabbath albums have been remastered, many with 2 CDs and lots of bonus material. Plus they are now in cardboard cases instead of the plastic CD cases that break if dropped. Check the small print on the Black Sabbath CDs for produced by Sanctuary Records between 2002 and 2014

This is Ozzy's 1st CD, not his 3rd! Bark at the Moon is his 3rd.

Ozzy is a legend, an icon and whatever, but his post-Sabbath solo career is spotty at best. Recorded during a "blizzard" of drug and alcohol abuse, this is his third album and first since the death of guitarist Randy Rhodes. For the discerning metalhead, this is not very metal at all, lacking the heaviness, darkness and menace of Sabbath. The songs are decent, as is Ozzy's singing, but it's over-produced with big guitars and slick keyboards, which makes it sound more than a little like Meatloaf. Great cover art though.
