I came here to say exactly what EricThomas has already stated. There is shaming of at least one of the girls who has a "Sweet Tooth" and can't keep her weight down! How can that even make it into print when it targeted to young girls. There's also a tone of misogyny in that some of the girls are portrayed as being empty-headed and only concerned with what the boys think of them and how they look.

Not at all recommended.

Very cute and really popular with kids!

This book is a terrible read for young girls (or any girl for that matter). It introduces the concepts of eating disorders and guilt associated with eating.
With the main audience for this book (i'm imagining) being young dancers, this book has the potential to plant concepts that are harmful to developing minds.

Shame on these publishers!
