Ever is the main character who has fallen into depression ever since her mother died. She has gained weight and there is this voice inside of her that tells here what people think about her. With her friends help and gastric-bypass surgery she is trying to loose weight. She has to overcome some obstacles to reach her dream. The book has irony in it but i won't ay what it is you just have to read it yourself to find out.

I love this book so much. It was a great read and it's one of my favorites. You have to read it!
This book is awesome. READ IT!!
How would people act towards you if you started rapidly dropping weight? How would you feel about yourself? This book is for anyone who has a little voice in their head that says naggy, negative things about themselves! A story about a real life issue, with a little bit of romance (just enough!).
I read this book for the message, which is one I thought I would enjoy hearing. Unfortunately I should have known that this genre is just not for me. I don't deal with real-life books well. They make me cry - and I hate crying. Despite the heart-wrenching middle, I still loved the ending of this book. It had a beautiful moral and was perfectly written, and that's why I gave it four stars. I don't think I've ever liked a book from this genre as much as I loved this one.
I love this book. It has so much value. This book and he character Ever have inspired me to not gain weight and loose some weight. Its just a phenomenal novel. I will always remember and love this book.
This was the best book I have ever read. It was sad in the beginning but got less sad towards the end.
This was a really good book but it needed some more thought and attention. Ever is a great thought-of character but everything is not in detail. The concept and self-esteem learning is great, though.
If Ever isn't the WHINIEST book character ever, I don't know who is. The message behind the novel gets lost in her petty teenage ways. I was driven to the point of frustration, where I wanted to stop reading the book. It's a predictable teen novel, and if you're into that you'll love it.
