It's true there isn't a "story" in this book, and it's meant for younger audiences (per other comments), but I found the photographs with diverse children of different ages with "good food" entertaining and memorable. "Good food make me strong" can be heard regularly from my 3 year-old now, which makes it a 5-star book to us!

More appropriate for the younger crowd, this book has numerous photographs to engage a child reader. it is lacking in any actual "story", though.

The photos of children interacting with food throughout this book have tremendous visual appeal, but the text is more exclamatory than informative. (Some examples include "Yummy!", "Time to go shopping!" and "Come have a snack!") Words in smaller type on each dual-page spread offer nutrition suggestions to adults that are related in some way to the food items and child actions depicted in the photos.

This book would work best with very young children who will enjoy identifying the foods shown and are just being introduced to the relationship between food and health.
