Made a main course and a dessert from this book and both turned out great!

There are many recipes in this book that sounded quite yummy, so being from Minnesota (jokingly known as the "hotdish" capital of the world) I made a few & was very disappointed. I am known to be a very, very good cook, but everything I made from this book was extremely bland and dry with a less that superior texture. I would not recommend it.

Liked this very much and will likely buy a copy for myself. Good practical recipes for casseroles and sides as well. Took a star off for no nutritional information. Ingredients readily available. Lots of humor and stories.
