This is an excellent conclusion to a really fun Regency quartet. The premise is, even by Regency romance standards, wildly implausible, but the sly nods to Cinderella and My Fair Lady are enjoyable, the book is laugh-out-loud funny at times, and the hero and heroine are exceptionally well-matched. Highly recommended to fans of light, witty historical romance.

Purists may not like the duke-and-commoner love story -- but who cares how plausible it is when you have characters as fantastic as Griff and Pauline and love scenes this steamy?

Out of the ordinary all right, but the tone is wrong.
