SLOW COOK THIS

Many of the recipes look great, though time consuming to prepare - which kinda defeats the purpose of using a slow cooker in the first place. If I'm going to spend an hour on prepwork and tend the pot during cooking, I'll just use the stove. Additionally, many of the recipes call for 20+ ingedients, often exotic items that aren't typically kept on hand. Not practical when I want to create a great tasting meal with limited time to invest. Kudos to the author for thinking outside the box and showing what slow cookers are capable of... but I think it misses the point.
