I loved this book! Not your typical time travel story if you are feeling bored with reading time travel novels. This kept me on my toes and had a complex ending that was satisfying.

My Review: This was a spectacular read. Full of plot twists and suspenseful situations, Marina is a complex character who not only captured my attention, but also caught my heart. Being a person who usually doesn't like the main character in books, I was shocked to find myself growing attached to her. She wasn't the only one though, I may or may not have swooned once or twice when Finn was present... Anyways, I'm picky when I read books, if it doesn't make sense and if it isn't something that COULD happen (And magic is totally plausible) then it's hard to keep me interested. Pretty much, if the characters and situation aren't realistic enough, I'm out. I was skeptical when I decided to read a time travel book. I mean, how much more complicated can you get than time travel?! It's one of many unsolved riddles in our world, the paradoxes are infinite! And when I realized that almost every second chapter would be in the past? Shoot me now. But Cristin Terrill didn't only deliver, she inspired me and captivated me. Her solution to time travel is brilliant and makes time travel that much more realistic. One of my favorite things about the book was seeing Marina (The main character) in the past and in the future, and seeing how different she was in the first chapter to who she became in the future, and then seeing her slowly start to turn into the person we knew she would become (if that makes any sense). Not only that, but also seeing where she is in the future and how it is her seemingly perfect life turned into... Well, something not so perfect at all (except for her love interest that is...). An amazing book to read for people who love action and suspense with a spoonful of romance and mystery. Also a great book for people like me who are picky about writing style and don't like to read poorly written books. Trust me, this is anything BUT poorly written. This book isn't too confusing... Although it has it's moments. If you can wrap your head around Doctor Who or any other time travel TV show/movie/book, you'll be fine with this. Overall, this book was already in my top 10 list by chapter 2, and now easily holds place number 6, with a shipper-frustration-rate of only 3 out of 10. Enjoy!

Fantastic Sci-Fi thriller. At times somewhat gritty, some violence, but a great story...a real nail biter to the end!

Teens Em and Finn have been imprisoned and our now on the run from a repressive government that uses time travel as a weapon and a tool of social control. Their only hope is to travel back in time themselves to thwart "The Doctor", the sadistic, cold blooded genius who created time travel in the first place. Tragically, "The Doctor" is actually someone both Finn and Em once loved. Will they be able to kill a younger innocent version of "The Doctor" before time runs out? A gripping, heartbreaking suspense tale that asks some hard questions: how does a good person become evil, and do the ends ever justify the means?

"If you could save the world by murdering your best friend, would you do it? It might be the only choice for Em and Finn. Again and again, they've escaped from prison in a grim, dystopian future to travel back in time and stop their brilliant friend James from inventing the time machine that corrupts the world as they know it. But each time, they fail. Now, in a desperate final attempt, Em and Finn will have to kill James - and, in doing so, destroy the future in which they fall in love. If you like high stakes, intricate plotting, and poignant emotions, you won't be able to put down All Our Yesterdays." “Let me look at you.” I pull away and put my hands on his cheeks, examining his face. Blue eyes, of course. And how could I forget that mouth? Thin pink lips with one crooked corner always suggesting a mocking smile. My God, how had I never noticed before how handsome he is? “You need a haircut.”
He rubs the side of his thumb over my cheekbone. “You’re beautiful.”
