Though mostly predictable (except for the twist at the end), we found this a cute and enjoyable movie. Not Oscar-worthy but entertaining nonetheless. Many elements of a Kramer vs Kramer ripoff but who cares? Eugenio Derbez is always fun to watch as he somehow makes ludicrous situations seem almost believable.

The premise and story are so absurd and unrealistic that I couldn't take it seriously. Billed as a comedy but not very funny. The end was sad and confusing. I gave it 2 stars for effort and production quality.

Disappointed with this film which couldn't seem to decide what it wanted to be: first it's a comedy; then it's a courtroom custody battle; and finally it tries to be a tear-jerker with a tragic ending. I liked the first part; was confused when it became a custody battle; and then when it tried to be a tragedy I became weary and ready for it all to end--I didn't cry, and I have a very squishy heart. A better movie is "Under the Same Moon."

I absolutely love this movie. It makes me cry every time I watch it. I highly recommend it.

The trailer led me to believe this would be a flat-out comedy but it turned out to be far more than that - a surprisingly touching film about a father's love and the sacrifices one makes for his child. Highly recommended

A couple funny moments, but a low budget film that got really BORING after an hour.
Not recommended.

It is such a terrific movie that I watched it twice-once in Spanish and the second time in English (subtitles). I laughed, cheered and cried. It is well-written, well-directed, and well-casted.

No expectation when I picked up this movie. Variation on Diane Keaton's 80s movie, Baby Boom. This movie has a lot of heart laced with comedy and its tear jerker scenes. It's a real nice human movie.

First of all, there is no language barrier, which is important in order to understand what goes on. This movie has it all! Comedy at its fullest, but the drama complements the entire plot in a brilliant fashion as well. I enjoyed the film very much because of the real life experiences that were portrayed through great acting. The movie is definitely a big tear jerker, unless you have no heart, get prepared with a box of tissues. This movie would be great for Father's Day because good parents should always be appreciated and life should not be wasted. There are many lessons to be learned from this film, so hurry up and watch it, it will not disappoint. Enjoy!!!
