The Happiness Trap is worth reading! You will understand the premise of the book right in the first chapter. The breathing exercises work. The book is so easy to follow and answers everyone's questions about how to unhook from negative or distorted thoughts. You won't be disappointed in this book. And you will have a few chuckles when you see how serious we all take life and how to ease up on ourselves and others.

Amazingly accessible. Can be read in a few hours. ACT is based on solid empirical evidence, and Russ knows how to get us to embody these concepts in our daily lives. I bought multiple copies of this book and lend them to patients dealing with issues like depression and anxiety.
