The Unlikely Spy. --- by. --- Daniel Silva.
If you didn't read this novel you've missed out on something. The previous review notwithstanding, reading this book was not a waste of time and how I wish I could write like this.
This is a thrilling chilling novel set in the days nearing the end of the second world war. It's a story of espionage. You will wish you could read the story faster than you can .
Silvas turn of words almost has you hope the German spies will make a successful escape.
The story will keep you hanging on until the very end and then, you'll be sorry the story is at its end.

The start to a great series by Daniel Silva.

coarse language and outright swearing, sexual content--as a result I didn't read this one.

What a waste of time. Could have written the whole thing with half the words. It was fast reading, as I simply read the topic sentences in paragraphs and skipped the rest. In many case, I skipped whole paragraphs and didn't miss a thing.
Obviously, Silva got his act together in later books, which I have read.

I thought this book was very well written but also extremely boring. The pace is quite slow and it only picks up almost at the end
