TOWER DOWN is another good David Hagberg novel with main characters Kirk McGarvey, Pete Boylan and Otto Renke. The story line is creative and intriguing including 'pencil' towers, the lifestyles of the rich and famous, money laundering and an interesting peek at bitcoins. Usual fast paced action. A fun read. My only criticism is the really abrupt ending. While abrupt, it does leave the main bad guy loose and on the run, signalling a sequel (or several). As to abrupt endings, I have previously noted I am seeing this more and more and the very tiny part of my brain devoted to conspiracy nonsense, makes me wonder if all the pressure on authors to meet deadlines published way in advance of delivery isn't forcing authors who lag behind to just end the book and point to future books as a sop to us masses.

The book was average, not as good as some of his previous works & the ending was somewhat of a letdown !
