This movie shows a good portrayal of what can happen to people after a traumatic event occurs. There is good plot and character development and it is decently played by the main actor and actresses. The internet can be a safe or an unsafe environment, depending upon how people use it. The reason some people are scared by this movie is that it has a basis in what could actually happen (although there is little chance it will happen to you as long as you educate your kids openly about some things) in an online relationship.

It also shows insight into the grooming process that online predators may use to convince kids to do things for them.

Just remember, there are good people online as well who have no intention of harming anyone. Not everyone is on their computer trying to go after your kid. Be aware of the warning signs for bullying as kids with self-image and self-confidence issues are more at-risk for falling for grooming. Having your kid talk to a school counselor if they are bullying, bullied, or appear to be more self-conscious about their image than they should be is not a bad thing. Remember, kids are not as comfortable talking about some things with their parents.

Rated 2/10. If you've borrowed this movie, looking for entertainment, don't bother. It may all be true, but highly depressing. This will appeal to parents.

This movie starts of as an after school special but after 30 minutes really gets going. Very good and scary movie. Watch this movie with your kids.

A must see movie. Predators are out there and the internet makes it easy for them to prey on the vulnerable and trusting.

A riveting movie that will leave you squirming on your couch. Appreciated the depiction of how each of the parents dealt with the situation in a gender specific manner and how much conflict this caused.

Who knew Ross could direct? David Schwimmer does a brilliant job directing this punch you in the gut film. The actors give equally amazing performances. This hard hitting drama goes beyond living up to expectations. Painful and poignant . It must be said that Liana Liberato gives probably the best from the gut and heart performance i have seen in quite a while.

Part cautionary tale and part titillation this is a sad story which rings true for the most part. This movie is not just about protecting your family or daughter -- it's also about a level of discomfort which I think a lot of people have about sexuality.

The adult predator could have been played a little more intelligently and with more sexual finesse. Too much emphasis was put on innocence with the teenage girl and it was not believable.

Well made movie. Directed by David Schwimmer from Friends. Clive Owen does a good job with difficult material. A lot of facts make the movie informative, too.

I watched this and I thought of how much one is exposed as a teen. I still remember hearing my parents tell me that I shouldnt be so naive when exchanging information with people on line. It was; what 15 years ago? Back then nothing like facebook existed. Chats and so on. Anyway, I feel that our teens are becoming more and more bold about the dangers out there. I believe one needs to still aware that there are predators on the other side of the screen.
