This book was so strange, quirky, and fascinating! I love the magical realism, combining the character's real life and the grief she is dealing with, along with the magic of time travel--but at what cost? The characters in this story have to decide if being able to travel through time and space is worth what it will mean they lose--and the things they'll have to do to their families.

I love books with thinking, feeling old houses as one of the main characters. This was an interesting story and worth the time even though Amelia was annoying and hard to like.
