When they are thrown together for a year-long science project, Kat, who has a social anxiety disorder, and Meg, who has ADHD, bond over their common obsession with a swoon-worthy online gaming star.
Kat's anxiety makes it hard for her to talk to new people; she only feels safe in front of her computer, playing her favorite video game. Meg hates being alone, but her ADHD keeps pushing people away. When the two girls are thrown together for a year-long science project, they discover they do have one thing in common: their obsession with the online gaming star LumberLegs and his hilarious videos. If they can stick together and stay out of their heads, they might figure out how to help each other-- and build the kind of friendship Kat never knew she wanted and Meg never believed she'd find.

Kat and Meg conquer the world is a excellent book, it shows how people can overcome their challenges if they persevere. They are video game players each with a different personality. Meg is a outgoing teen with ADHD who's parents have divorced. Kat is a shy girl who's brother has changed since he has gone to university. Both are put together to work on a science project and realized that they have many things in common. Kat and Meg become great friends and hope to achieve their goal of going to the video game convention. This book has great pacing and planning, but has a slow plot and a ok ending.

Kat and Meg are thrown together for a science project. Both have issues, Meg has ADHD and that causes people to steer away from her, and Kat has social anxiety issues. Both love to watch this online video gaming star which is the one thing they have in common and decide to base their science project. Throw in family, school, and boyfriend issues, along with the science project and you have the story. Just seemed like things happened but nothing overly exciting. I did like the ending.
