This novel is like the sister novel of "Cruise Control", except instead of the story told in the perspective of Paul, this is told from Shawn's point of view. To be completely honest, I enjoyed "Cruise Control" more. Maybe because I could relate to it more, and I had a lot of questions in this one in regards to the narration. This wasn't my favorite of the two, but still worth a read. I still enjoyed it, don't get me wrong. For some reason, to me it didn't have the same emotional impact that its sister novel did. I thought the conclusion was very well done, along with any other parts involving the father. It's interesting, because some of the same events happen in "Cruise Control", but it's so cool hearing it from another perspective. Very, very neat.
