The SPL Catalog description, "Broken into seven vignettes that humorously answer questions raised in Dr. Rueben's book about sex" is seriously far-fetched, ha hah. The book & movie title's notwithstanding, there is only the most thread-bare connection between the book and the film. I recall one reviewer, at the time the film was released in movie theatres, stating the film set sex education back into the Stone Age, ha hah hah. That's far more apt than the SPL description. Some of the vignettes are over-the-top but all are funny and entertaining. At least one, starring Gene Wilder and a sheep, is to-this-day a thematically unmatched "trend-setter" of American movie history.
