Becoming a believer of William Kent Krueger's story telling skills. Another book that creatively presents a tale involving cultutre, forklore, customs, ritual behavior and beliefs of the Ojibwe native americans. The crime writing is Succinct, creative and effectively shown thru Cocoran O'Connor. Seldom is the protagnist able to incorporate belief in family and their ties, as a backdrop in a tale.This murder invovles love in; friendships, disfunctional families, spiritual beliefs, and having fame and fortune.
