Disney After Dark, written by Ridley Pearson is the first book in his series, Kingdom Keepers. The whole concept of this series relies on the question, have you ever wondered what happens at Disney World after dark? The book follows Finn Whitman and his friends, who are all connected in the most unexpected way. Living in Florida, Finn is just another teenager trying to find a job, but when he lands a job at Disney World, he gets a whole lot more than he expected. His job is to record himself as a virtual host, a DHI, Disney Host Interactive or Daylight Hologram Imaging. However, Finn and his friends don’t expect to wake up in the park as their holograms in Disney World after it closes at night, they also don’t expect to see the heroes and villains at Disney World to come to life. Overall, the whole concept is perfect for any Disney lover as their dreams come true in one book, where you can celebrate your childhood, while being entertained. I give this book a 4/5 stars, as I do see a lack of character development, but I see that this will change as the series continues. - @Because_Logic of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library
