If you're not willing to change what you've been doing which led to disease, don't expect to heal. The increasing amount of research shows evidence, both scientific and anecdotal, that removing specific foods from the diet is crucial, but also being intentional about healing leaky gut. So it does include, but not limited to, eliminating certain foods for a time, then reintroducing things one at a time. I did not like it either, but it made a huge difference! I believe gluten (and most or all grains) and dairy from the diet for a time is beneficial to ALL people who suffer from leaky gut, allergies, or autoimmune disease. It may not be forever, but during the healing period it IS crucial.
