Depeche Mode's second album (1982) is their weakest of the 80s. Synth pop savant Vince Clark had left the band (he would go on to Yaz and Erasure) and they were down to a trio. This album is transitional, finding them trapped between the glittering synth pop of the first album and their later arena goth sound. For fans only. Includes a bonus disc and new liner notes.
